Capital STEM Network

Through an Early Math Innovations grant from Washington STEM, the Capital Region partnered with Math For Love to distribute Tiny Polka Dots math games to approximately 1800 rural and remote caregivers and young children in 2020.
Mid-Columbia STEM Network
based in the Tri-Cities of Washington
More than 200 regional business leaders, educators, parents and students met virtually to learn and share ideas focused on supporting students through career connected learning. 19 organizations showcase how they were supporting career connected learning partnerships at the local level
King County STEM Partners
based in Seattle, Washington
In 2020, with support from Career Connect Washington, Washington STEM partnered with the Commission on Hispanic Affairs to develop three Career Connect Tech Academies. The King County program will launch at the Washington Institute of Technology an High School campus in 2021.
Northwest STEM Network
based in the Skagit Valley region in Washington
In 2020, the Northwest STEM Network joined a statewide effort to improve Financial Aid application completion in Northwest Washington. They are partnering Washington STEM and the Washington Student Achievement Council to develop a rich set of resources for their community.
Snohomish STEM Network
based in Snohomish, Washington
The Snohomish STEM Network, in partnership with Math Anywhere and Vroom, reached 1,018 families with early learning resources and provided training for 47 early learning professionals, who went on to share their knowledge with an additional 102 colleagues in Snohomish County.
Career Connect Southwest Network
based in Vancouver, Washington
The Career Connect Southwest Network, in partnership with Math Anywhere!, provided 1,500 families with Kindergarten Welcome Boxes containing STEM at Home and Math Anywhere! Activities that help students and families kick off the school year with the resources they need to start strong.
South Central STEM Network
based in Yakima, Washington
During a time when K-12 students are utilizing virtual learning opportunities, students in the most rural districts in the region will have the opportunity to participate in career exploration through Virtual Job Shadow, a program developed by the STEM network. Beginning in early 2021, approximately 1,600 rural students will have access to the high-quality Career Exploration platform.
Spokane STEM Network
based in Spokane, Washington
The Spokane STEM Network and a coalition of community partners distributed 1,000 sets of free early learning resources focused on early mathematics through the expansion of Everyday Language and Learning Opportunities (Project ELLO). ELLO helps provide the essential resources Spokane area families and children need to thrive.
Tacoma STEM Network
based in Tacoma, Washington
Tacoma STEAM will work with our Early Learning partners to host an early math workshop with an anticipated 150 caregiving adults with ZENO Math through our Building Connections Professional Development Workshops. This workshop will provide training, professional development credits, and ZENO math kits to early childcare providers and parents, specifically those serving low income students and students of color.
West Sound STEM Network
based in Bremerton, Washington
West Sound STEM Network implemented a comprehensive, collaborative, and broad dive into STEM teacher professional development by partnering with a broad range of local stakeholders to deliver 58 STEM training workshops for teachers, with 39 of them as virtual in response to COVID guidelines.
