WHY WE DO THIS

We believe that an equitable cradle-to-career education is the right of all Washington students.

In collaboration with our partners, we design and implement strategies that center those who have been historically excluded from high-quality STEM learning and career opportunities.

We focus on students of color, students living in low-income conditions, students in rural areas, and girls. We know that a more accessible, equitable, and connected education system is one that empowers all learners in our state to thrive—in school, career, and life.

Our Focus Areas
We connect the dots between the fundamental life phases and educational systems that young people navigate as they progress toward college, post-secondary training, and careers.
Early Care & Education
Equitable access to high-quality early care and education improves lifelong outcomes for young people, especially in STEM literacy and engagement.
Preschool – 12th Grade STEM
An inclusive, culturally relevant, high-quality STEM education fosters STEM literacy and gives students the knowledge, skills, and sense of belonging needed to succeed in 21st-century jobs.
Pathways to Credentials & Careers
Well-lit, community-connected career pathways take students from credential achievement to in-demand, family-sustaining jobs that require STEM literacy.
