Lael was selected as the Tacoma Region 2021 Rising Star for participation in the SOTAbots club. Her outreach, particularly with girls in her community, has introduced many students to the possibilities of STEM and robotics. Lael plans to study environmental science and policy so that she can better support our future through green energy and conservation efforts.
