The Foundation for Academic Endeavors

“It is with great pleasure that the Foundation for Academic Endeavors nominates Diana Soriano as a candidate for the Rising Star award. Diana was a student at FAE for 3 years and this year she will be given the opportunity to serve our foundation as a volunteer, to continue her passion with STEM. Through our program Diana engages her passion for STEM as a means of service to our community and the families we serve at FAE. Our curriculum takes into account STEM use in our everyday lives and how we can all be the engineers we need in our communities. As a volunteer, Diana will aid the creation of STEM projects with the students in a specific classroom working collectively with teachers and fellows. In addition to her contributions to our summer program, Diana hopes to study STEM in college. Taking all of this into consideration, we believe that Diana is the embodiment of the values of the Rising Star award.”
