Module 1: Perseverance
Module 1: Perseverance
Perseverance is the act of maintaining persistence in doing something despite difficulties or delays in achieving success. In mathematics, perseverance is a practice that mathematicians experience; by struggling with concepts, ideas, and problems, mathematicians grow and become smarter and more resourceful problem solvers.
The Perseverance Module focuses on the concept of perseverance and explores this concept in two stories: The Most Magnificent Thing (Spires, 2013) and Jabari Jumps (Cornwall, 2017). Head to one of the book pages to get started with your Story Time STEM read-aloud.
