When Tsewone heard about Human Centered Design & Engineering from a Boeing engineer speaking at a UW Making Connections event, she was hooked. In addition to her studies, Tsewone is the Region VI Pre-College Initiative Chair of the National Society of Black Engineers , an organization whose mission is “to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the communit
