Frannie Smith

Frannie Smith was a graduate student in geology when she took a Nuclear Waste Management Class and then she was hooked. Now, Frannie works with other scientists and engineers throughout the country to figure out safe, effective ways to dispose of nuclear waste. In addition to science, she is passionate about communication in STEM fields and works hard to make her research accessible to everyone. Posted September 2018.
