THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2024

11:30am-1:30pm

Microsoft Conference Center, 16070 NE 36th Way, Redmond, WA, 98052

During this extended lunch program and networking opportunity, you will get the chance to:

  • Honor Governor Jay Inslee and the STEM Education Innovation Alliance.
  • Attend the panel discussion: “Catalyzing STEM Education for Transformation, Innovation, and Empowerment.” A panel of top thinkers from education, public policy, and industry discuss how to mitigate threats and leverage opportunities in STEM teaching and learning, such as generative AI.
  • Celebrate Rising Stars in STEM. We’ll recognize eleven high school students from across the state who represent the next generation of STEM talent. From monitoring bighorn sheep populations in the Okanogan to repairing cars in Longview, these students use STEM learning to better themselves and their communities.
  • Join us as we announce our 2024 Legislators of the Year. We’ll recognize lawmakers championing legislation that opens doors to STEM education for all students.

We are grateful for Microsoft’s longstanding partnership and the ability to bring key stakeholders together to meet in-person. We will meet with our regional STEM Network partners, community and education leaders, and agency partners prior to coming together for the Summit Luncheon.

Attendance at the Summit Luncheon is by invitation only. For more information, please contact Megan Nadan.
